Commission: Precious Moments Chapter 5
The defeat of Majin Buu came with many costs and trials. Once the terrible creature was freed, Babidi took it all over the Earth. The Earth's population was decimated as Buu turned people into treats. There were few that escaped Buu's wrath; even Babidi was slain by Buu. The Earth's savior, Hercule, was among them. Unfortunately, even Earth's 'hero' couldn't keep Buu calm for long. Vicious humans caused a split between the newly good Buu and an evil incarnate. The evil Buu attacked the Lookout and began a chain reaction that led to its defeat. Of course, before all that, preparations were made. After giving the children the terrible news of the demise of Vegeta and Gohan, the children were given little time to grieve. Immediately, Goku and Piccolo started to train Trunks and Goten to perform the fusion dance. Shortly after, Babidi sent a telepathic message to all the Earth. He wanted to track down Trunks, Goten, and Piccolo. Trunks's identity was given up by the
Botan was alone—downtrodden and panicked after she took Genkai’s spirit to Spirit World. The ferry girl still couldn’t believe she had been tasked with guiding one of her loved ones away. Even though it was her job and she was used to ferrying souls of the dead, Botan never expected it to be someone she cared about. Of course, her position was extremely rare. After all, she was the first assistant to the spirit detective, and the only ferry girl to spend so much time in the living world. When she sensed Genkai’s life fade, Botan was a wreck. She met with Koenma to report, but she couldn’t stand any of it. Yusuke’s grief was so immense as was her own. It didn’t matter, all the training Botan went through, all the knowledge that Genkai was safe and that she was the one who made sure of it—none of it. The one who usually had to reassure lost souls now felt lost. This wasn’t right. This wasn’t supposed to happen. Only…Botan knew that was a lie. It was Genkai’s time; she was meant to lose
“I have been impressed with the urgency of doing. Knowing is not enough; we must apply. Being willing is not enough; we must do.” – Leonardo da Vinci ------------------ It was a nice day out which led Botan to make the suggestion to head to the park. Not surprisingly, Hiei shrugged, not at all caring what they did. The two headed to their destination together and found a nice and cozy spot deep in the forested area where hardly any humans ventured. Once there, Hiei immediately started to train. Botan was actually surprised. It wasn’t the first time she had seen Hiei train, but she actually thought that maybe they could just spend some time, sit together, and enjoy each other’s company. She even packed them a lunch. Hiei watched her do it. Didn’t he realize that she wanted to spend time with him? Hiei spent a couple hours performing a series of fluid movements, slashed his sword vigorously but with purpose. He had been feeling a bit stir crazy; so much stress followed him from the
“Whatever the mind of man can conceive and believe, it can achieve.” – Napoleon Hill ------------------ When you kissed me Yeah, I felt so alive And every little secret you told me I keep down inside Over a year had passed since Botan’s fall from grace. That’s sometimes how Hiei liked to see it, anyway. He brought her down a path to live a life with him. She was the angel in his dark world, the one who changed his view. The world could be a forgiving place, and he really could accomplish anything he set his mind to. Even after they ran away from graduation, the prospect of freedom left them both feeling overwhelmed with eagerness. The two teenagers were kindred spirits, both looking to start anew. Hiei had been the orphan struggling through school, and Botan had been the principal’s daughter and a straight A student wanting for more. She was a musician, a rebel, and, most importantly, the love of Hiei’s life. Every moment they were together felt electric, every touch like

Reflection: Chapter 1 Seasons
It was a bright and sunny day. Hiei found himself on a beach with Botan. He didn’t know why the woman would want to come to this rowdy place when they could have just gone to Genkai’s. Still, he didn’t complain. Much. He was both enamored and flustered by the fact that Botan decided to wear such revealing clothing. He was certain this tiny, pink bikini thing was no better than her underwear. Still, his one thought was how he wanted to feel her skin on his lips. He mentally kicked himself for it afterwards. The ferry girl prattled on about food she could get them at the snack stand when Hiei heard a whistle. He looked around and saw some random guys catcalling. They were all eyeing his woman. Hiei was pissed. Botan had long since stopped her chatter to go and get them a milkshake. She returned soon after with a large cup and two straws. “We can share,” she chimed, not knowing she was being watched by those lustful menaces. The demon didn’t want to ruin her good time or point out what
It was a hot, summer day, completely stale and humid. The heat was so intense that everyone was warned to stay inside for the past couple of days. Botan continued to fan herself and wore practically nothing in the apartment. She was thankful for her air conditioner, but it didn’t seem to chase away the heat. By mid-afternoon, though, clouds started to form and broke the heatwave. Now, the weather was beautiful. Botan’s communication mirror rang, and her brow quirked in surprise. Who would be calling her? A smile graced her features where she saw a face she hadn’t seen in a while. “Yusuke!” she chimed happily. “Yo, Botan, what’s up?” her friend greeted. Botan looked around and shrugged. “Nothing much,” she told him. “Just trying to beat this heat.” “No kidding,” Yusuke laughed. “Kuwabara and I have been holed up at his place all day. We’re bored now.” “Are you?” Botan retorted sarcastically. “Does that mean you’re looking to do something?” “You’ve got it.” Botan shook her head.
When he brought her to the middle of nowhere, Botan had no idea what Hiei wanted from her. As he practically pounced on her, the fire demon’s intention became a bit clearer. At first, Hiei simply kissed her, Botan’s back pressed against a tree. She giggled at the sensation of Hiei’s surprisingly gentle fingers grazing her sides. Then he started to remove the outer layer of her kimono and Botan’s eyes shot open in surprise. She nearly shrieked in his mouth and then pushed Hiei off of her. Irritated pools of crimson bore into her; he was completely unamused. He made to resume their make-out session, but Botan stopped him again. This time, he growled his frustrations. “What?” came his hiss, and Botan blushed and her eyes filled with guilt. “I…I…” She scrambled to think of a response. To be honest, it wasn’t that she was opposed to Hiei’s ministrations, but there was something bothering her. She closed her eyes and yelled out her concerns. “I don’t want my first time to be against a
“Believe you can and you’re halfway there.” - Theodore Roosevelt -------------------- He was an imiko, a child of fire, a destroyer, a creature who deserved to die. That was the curse placed upon his birth, a story to which Hiei lived accordingly. He was sentenced to death, destined to ruin everything he touched. He could never love or be loved. That’s what the fire demon had taken from the cold-hearted village. It was what he believed for the longest time, and he never cared. He was never disappointed that love was not a tangible object for him. It didn’t bother him to be reviled by his victims and enemies. Most of the time, he’d kill anyone who came into his path, so it never mattered. It never bothered him that he barely an inkling of love, either. He knew he cared about his sister and her happiness. He was loyal to his team. He would lay his life on the line for those whom he deemed worthy. He didn’t believe that was considered love. When he first started feeling
There are days when I feel that everything that's good is gone There are times that I feel no matter what I do, it's wrong I've walked these streets alone just living day to day Clocking in, fading out, don't tell me what I'm feeling now You shook my dreams away It was a day Hiei hoped would never come, a day where everything about his shit storm of a life would take a drastic hit. He spent his entire life desiring the moment, but over the course of the last year, his opinion changed drastically. He hated this dirt-poor town and nearly all of its inhabitants. Despite having friends and his estranged sister, Hiei had nothing else he cared for in the Godforsaken town. Until her. Graduation was fast approaching, and then Hiei would hightail it out of the town. It had been his plan since freshman year, and it would not change. There was a world out there, one that was better suited for him. He wasn’t used to staying in one place for so long. It was time to move on from this town that
“Small opportunities are often the beginning of great enterprises.” – Demosthenes ------------------ The sound of a high-pitched scream thrusted Hiei out of his nightmares, and he growled over being disturbed. Crimson eyes blinked to rid himself of the last remnants of sleep, and then the fire demon rubbed a hand over his face and scoffed. What was the woman doing? The scream did not sound like hers. Was that the blasted television? Why was it so loud? His eyes went to the clock and narrowed. He had only come to bed a few hours prior in the middle of the night. The woman was never up this early, and she was usually very mindful of him as her ‘roommate’, as she would call him. What was her deal? The fire demon ventured from the room and heard some strange, soft song. The lyrics seemed complex and dark. Hiei couldn’t help but focus on them as he made his way to the living space to confront the woman. “Nighttime sharpens, heightens each sensation. Darkness wakes and stirs
